The ‘Recovering river health and native fish of the upper Murrumbidgee’ project.

Protecting native vegetation along the upper Murrumbidgee River, improving habitat complexity for fish in areas affected by sand, monitoring pest fish, supporting cultural water assessments and assessing natural barriers to native fish movement are all ways in which this project will assist to recover the health and native fish of the upper Murrumbidgee River.

This project is funded by the Australian Government’s Murray-Darling Healthy Rivers Program and is being administered by Bush Heritage Australia as a key partner of the Upper Murrumbidgee Demonstration Reach partnership.
